PS-7 Fixed Gas Detector for Semiconductor/Specialty Gas
The PS-7 detector is designed to be compact and lightweight, catering to industries utilizing a wide range of industrial specialty gases in their manufacturing processes. These industries include semiconductors, solar cells, and electronics manufacturing.
The unique feature of the PS-7:
The PS-7 detector offers the versatility of using various pre-calibrated gas sensors, depending on the specific gas to be monitored. Suppose a customer needs to change the monitored gas due to a change in manufacturing tools/process. In that case, they must replace the existing gas sensor with a new pre-calibrated sensor suitable for the new gas. There is no need to replace the entire detector, providing increased flexibility and reducing long-term ownership costs for the customer.
The pre-calibrated sensor eliminates the need to introduce calibration gas on-site for testing, commissioning, or calibrating the detector. This enhances safety for working personnel and reduces the risk of contamination in cleanrooms in the event of accidental release of calibration gas.
Other features of the PS-7 include:
- 4-digit LCD digital display with units and split bar graph for clear and precise gas concentration readings.
- Long lifespan sampling pump with automatic flow, ensuring reliable gas sampling.
- Error response if an incorrect sensor is inserted into the detector with a different gas.
- Analogue and digital outputs for seamless connection to a central supervisory system.
- Alarm response for high gas concentration with a 2-stage alarm, low flow indication, and trouble indication.
